If you're anything like me, you may have gone a little overboard with your holiday shopping (that is, great gifts for yourself as well as others). But I always like to start out the new year with a few dazzling pieces so even my tried & true winter outfits feel shiny & new again. Try these on for size...
QVC:
Rachel Zoe-Make a Statement Bold Necklace: The chunky links are so classic, and I can't quite decide between the yellow or rose gold.
ShopNBC:
Alexander McQueen? Yes please. These shades are perfect for those early mornings, and the chic tortoise shell will tie any outfit together.
HSN:
New season, new bag. I love this Barr + Barr satchel. The silhouette is stunning, and the blue hue is the perfect pop of color.

Ahhh, the week in between Christmas and New Year's is probably my favorite time of the year. There is something so exciting and refreshing with the idea of discounting the old to make room for the new! Here are a few items to carry you into 2011.
HSN: Now thru midnight tonight: Fashion Clearance
Snag great deals on Twiggy(yes famous super model Twiggy has her own line). Including leggings, jeweled flats, and accessories all under $20.
R.J. Graziano designs some of the most classic, yet edgy pieces for the red carpet. His line at HSN is simply dazzling. Find bracelets, earrings and other baubles at prices too good to pass up.
QVC:
Isaac Mizrahi never disappoints. Check out his chic leather bag on clearance, ah-mazing. Did I mention the hot pink lining?
K-Dash by Kardashian offer tons of fashion essentials, including this Ponte Knit Dress for under $50 (i'm partial to the black of course). Thrown on with tights and boots for an effortlessly chic look.
ShopNBC:

Welcome to SHOPPING CHANNEL CHIC
What is "chic"? To be chic is to be stylish, elegant and classic. It is the way a woman carries herself that makes a particular garment look like it was made for her. Being chic is a mindset and is not tied to a price tag.
Over the years I have become familiar with shopping channels and what they offer. I remember my great-grandmother ordering knick-knacks and vacuum cleaners over the phone. Let me say it now, oh how things have changed. While shopping channels still sell top of the line vacuum cleaners and crystal figurines, they also sell fabulous pieces from collections by Isaac Mizrahi, Badgley Mishka, and DKNY to name a few. Stylists and celebrities such as Rachel Zoe, Molly Sims, and The Kardashians have joined the party as well. Cosmetic brands like Benefit, and Bobbi Brown are electrifying their image through television retailing.
These designers and established brands are not only smart, they're savvy too. They realize the benefits of joining a television retailer: exposure to millions of households, the capacity to bring the product to the customer(more on this later), not to mention the possibility of making their brand appeal to a new type of customer.
As you can tell, I have been sucked into the world of television retailing. Not only do industry leaders like HSN and QVC offer enticing values, free shipping and payment options, they know how to keep their customer entertained- which is key. Shopaholics, myself included, want to feel like they are not only receiving the best deal, but also want to experience the feeling of exclusivity.
This blog will be dedicated to highlighting the television retailing industry, the brands and designers that WOW us with their creations, the innovative companies that keep us entertained, the enjoyment we will have watching it all come together, and delivered to us in a package tied up with string.
